Balak 2016: Question of the week

What examples can you think of in the Older and Newer Testament which show Godly anger and punishment?

Discuss how we apply justice and mercy to others when we’re angry with their unrighteous behaviour.

Chukat 2016: Question of the week

When the spies returned form the Promised Land and ten of them gave a ‘bad’ report, it upset the people, causing great distress.   Considering the obvious reasons of fear and lack of trust …

What was fundamentally wrong with their report?

Korach 2016: Question of the week

Korah had little interest in Torah or serving others as High Priest – He was only interested in usurping Aaron and Moses for prestige and power. So God threw him into She’ol (the pit or ‘the grave’) and fire followed after him.

So what is the reason for Torah and why is there a new for the priesthood?

Do they have similar roles?
